Nepal Trip 2015: The land of heaven
I have been to Nepal before earth quake 1 week. It was very
sadness story happened there. I keep contact with a girl and a porter from this
trip, they are lost their house and family. How sad they are. Nepal is a beautiful
country. There are lots of mountain surround. As you known Himalaya Mountain, the
highest mountain in the world name “Everest”.
Before this sadness, I want to write my amazing experience from
this Nepal trip to you. I really proud and happy to been there. I’m sure, after
the earth quake Nepal would be become beautiful as pass.
I had been to Nepal for trekking to Langtang National Park.
This route is not so famous tail as other route such as Anaphura base Camp or
Everest Base Camp. Even though, there are very several of different scene and
not so crowned. My friend, “Amp” She was recommended this tail since she found
in Pantip review is very interesting. We had planned all activity of this trip
and booked for the hotel, agency who provide us the trekking trip with guide
and porter.
This trekking took 7 days included travel from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi
city. The destination of this trekking is Kyanjing Gompa Village. It is the
last village of this tail and higher than sea level at 3,870 meters. I checked
this village like in Internet. There are big snow mountain surround the
village. It was stunning me in that picture.
Himalaya Calling!!! Day 1 We was at Suvarnaphumi Airport on
11th April 2015. This period was long weekend holiday of Songkran
Festival, lots of tourists was there to check-in. We took plenty of time on
that, finally we were entries the gate and waiting for the flight. How
exciting!!!
From Bangkok to
Kathmandu take 3 hours and skip an hour different time zone here to there. Arrival
time was on 12.25 PM this trip was a longest trip as I ever fly. I watched a movies
name “The Best of Me” during the flight. It was made me crying. OMG! Sad Story.
I love this movies anyway. J
I was sitting beside the window at the right position as I
plan to see the good mountain of Nepal. Before lading, I was looking for the
snow mountain but I can’t see it. I don’t know why. My friend who work as
flight attended he said this case depend on the flying route. I still hope the
return flight I might be see it. Otherwise, we were lading with safe at Tribhuvan
airport. The Tribhuvan airport is not so big and decoration as Nepal traditional
style with brown block like the old castle.

We passed immigration easy with VISA we provided from Thailand.
Nepal Visa is very easy to get it. You can ask anyone to get it for you at
Nepal embassy with your passport and application.
Friend Hotel provided us the taxi from the airport to the
hotel with extra charge we booked, it was very easy we can found him with a
paper shown our name. This is the one thing you should be careful with taxi
driver at the airport. They will come to you and offer you lots of thing. We
have checked about this case before been there but it was not too bad when we
met it.
The taxi was not looking luxury and not so big. There are
the small carpet at the passenger seat, you can see everywhere in taxi, restaurant
or in the hotel. We took an half of hour to arrive the Hotel in Tamel area. The
road is not so good and not so big. It’s not the concrete road somewhere. So,
there is lots of dust everywhere.

Tamel is the busy area with tourist
place, trekking agency and trekking equipment shop. We checked in the hotel and
e-mail to trekking agency. Trekking agency need to meet us before trekking to
check we have all stuff ready for trekking trip without any problems. They were
meet us in the evening so we went out to walking around the hotel. We asked a
map of Tamel from a reception. He recommended us the close once of tourist
place name; Garden of dream. So, we started to visit there at the first. Yes,
it is not far from the hotel. We get in that place with 60 Rupees gate fee. Garden
of dream is look like the park with European building style. Many Nepalese
people came there for picnic and relaxing. This place is not so big and has a restaurant
inside. Not so long time we were there then we went out to a café near there.
It is on the 2nd floor beside the main street. I can remember the
name of this café but they sale Himalaya coffee and promote as the coffee from
the highest mountain in the world. I ordered hot black coffee and potato salad.
It was really good coffee and potato salad test is not so bad. We can skip
dinner because potato salad is so big dish and we cannot finished all of them.

After café, we went to a supermarket to get some necessary
things before trekking. I found many products from China. I noticed the mineral
water and soft drink are very expensive. In the evening time, we backed to the
hotel and met Sithatta and guide from trekking agency we appointed. He checked
all cloth, jacket, sock, shoes, hat, gloves and pants. I never been trekking trip
before and I didn’t bring good cloth that suitable with the weather in Nepal.
So, I need many things as Sithatta comments and required some I must have. We were
back to shopping again. He guide me to buy good jacket, pants, hat and gloves. There
are many equipment trekking shop in Tamel and not too expensive. For sure, all
of product is suitable for trekking and the weather there.
We had combined all stuff for trekking packed into one bag. Because
we left some things at the hotel and will get it back after trekking. We went
to bed early to get ready for trekking in the next day…z…Z…Z See you Himalaya
